Our Cougars are so proud of their reading and writing success this year! We encourage our CES families to participate in Summer Reading to continue supporting the proud readers they have become! Children who actively read during the summer months are able to sustain (and often grow) their reading level. Children who do not, can lose 2-3 months of progress. Please use the resources and links on this page to access free eBooks and learn more about Summer Reading Programs at our Public Library and in our community.

Students may access eBooks all summer through our CES MackinVia e-book collection. MackinVIA is a complete eResource management system providing easy access to eBooks, digital audiobooks and educational databases. The MackinVIA app is available for download in the iTunes and Google Play store. No additional apps are needed for listening. Titles may be available one-to-one or via a simultaneous access model. In other words, students may be able to check out the desired title right away or students may have to place the desired book on hold and gain access once it has been checked back in. Students may log in with the following information:
School: Campbell Elementary, Fairbun, Ga User ID: Fulton County Network ID (this is their library/lunch card barcode number) Password: Birthdate (8 numbers: ex. 06232007) |
Through a partnership between Get Georgia Reading – Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and myON, all educators, librarians, students and parents in Georgia have free access to thousands of enhanced digital books from myON through August 31st.
